“You are providing a wonderful service and help. Thank you for caring and sharing!”
Just4Children are a UK-based charity providing fundraising assistance to families for the medical needs of their children with disabilities and sickness.
They're passionate about supporting the health of children and young people under the age of 25 years across the United Kingdom and Ireland. And they do this by connecting families to services and grants, allowing access to medical treatments, therapies and equipment that would otherwise be out of reach.
Just4Children can provide fundraising support for families in the following areas:
Life changing treatment for children with brain injuries
Access to quality of life enhancing surgeries and treatments like selective dorsal rhizotomy (SDR) and stem cell therapy
Access to life-saving surgeries and treatments
Probable and likely surgeries and treatments as yet not diagnosed
Short breaks and holidays for children with families fighting illnesses and disabilities
Making dreams come true for terminally ill children
Mobility and sensory equipment
New technology to enhance quality of life for house bound children
Holistic therapy and support programmes for autistic children
Adaptions to homes and living environments to improve quality of life
Sports equipment to enable talented disabled athletes to participate in competitive sport
Service dogs for children with epilepsy and other conditions
And any other areas the trustees feel will benefit children who have disabilities and sickness.
As a safety net for families that are unable to get the help they need,
Just4Children provides choice, opportunity, dignity and understanding.
“We were required to cover the cost of our child's surgery plus £20,000 for additional equipment and therapy for two years post-SDR,” says one such family. “We started to fundraise in June 2016 with Just4Children who’ve been absolutely amazing at supporting us and managing [our child's] campaign.”
